PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT FOR THE CHIPPENHAM PLACE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE CHIPPENHAM PLACE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND STONEBRIDGE REALTY HOLDINGS, LLC REGARDING THE FINANCING OF CERTAIN INFRASTRUCTURE Notice is hereby given of the intention of the Board of Supervisors of Chesterfield County, Virginia (the “Board”) to consider at its meeting to be held on January 12, 2011, an ordinance entitled “ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT FOR THE CHIPPENHAM PLACE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND AUTHORIZING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE CHIPPENHAM PLACE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND STONEBRIDGE REALTY HOLDINGS, LLC, REGARDING THE FINANCING OF CERTAIN INFRASTRUCTURE.” The proposed ordinance will establish a special assessment (the “Assessment”) to secure bonds to be issued by the Chippenham Place Community Development Authority (the “Authority”) in the maximum principal amount not to exceed $17,250,000. The Assessment will be distributed among real estate within the Chippenham Place Community Development Authority District (the “District”). The purpose of the Assessment is to finance certain infrastructure improvements benefiting property within the District.
