Notice is hereby given that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is requesting authorization for the Virginia Marine Resources Commission to place approximately 504 feet of 4-foot wide elevated boardwalk; a 4-foot by 6-foot walkway to a proposed 17-foot octagonal deck; a 4-foot by 12- foot connecting ramp to an 8-foot by 12- foot floating deck canoe launch platform, the platform being within an un-named tidal creek tributary to the James River within Presquile National Wildlife Refuge in Chesterfield County. The request will require both a Subaqueous and a Wetlands Permit from VMRC. A public hearing will be held for this request on September 28, 2010 beginning at 9:30 A.M., 2600 Washington Avenue, Newport News, Virginia 23607.
