Seniors can explore the history of Chesterfield In The SpotlightSnapshots of Chesterfield's Past,Tues., Nov. 20, 10:30 a.m.-noon, Chester Library, 11800 Centre St. Celebrate Chesterfield County's heritage in this discussion of the history of the Chesterfield County Museum and its new exhibit. Learn why Chesterfield County's rich past is more than a footnote in history. Refreshments will be served. Part of the Get in the Know Series for seniors ages 55 and older. Free. A Look at Native American Customs, 10- 11 a.m., Rockwood Nature Center, Rockwood Park, 3401 Courthouse Rd. Children ages 3-4 will explore some of the customs of Native Americans. Fee is $4 per child. Preparing for Winter, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Nov. 18, same time, Henricus Historical Park, 251 Henricus Park Rd. Come watch and help as the Henricus residents and their Powhatan neighbors settle in for a long winter. Crops must be brought in, food must be stored for the winter and settlers must make their own holiday traditions without the comforts of England.
